For the second consecutive year we had the privilege to cooperate with the 509 team to create their Winter Catalogue. The challenge was given: design a soft-cover book that not only gathers information about products and technological innovations, but also entertains all snowmobilers and snowbikers of the world in a classy fashion.
Due to the countless innovations and patents the products hold, the ZIIJN had to discover new ways of explaining 509's state-of-the-art technologies in a minimalistic, clear and easily understandable way.
The Spokane, WA based company - that provides riders worldwide with the most advanced snowmobile gear - also teamed up with the greatest athletes in the industry to shoot the best action photography out there in support of our efforts in creating a catalogue that is fun to look at for every rider.
Page layout - informative, inspiring, innovative.
Art direction: minimalist still life, raw studio atmosphere and pure adrenalin-boosting action imagery combined.
The informative pages were designed for the best customer experience. New features were introduced to answer the challenges of nowadays: QR codes for contactless data gathering, easy guide of available colours, Terrain and Flow Meters for better describing product functionality and explanatory callouts of technology. All in a digitally responsive and interactive form.
Simplicity allows the products live to their fullest and be up for the expectations of the viewers.
